Georgia Nichol is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with a Master's in Couple and Relationship Therapy and a Bachelor of Social Work. Georgia is a seasoned therapist with extensive experience supporting people to navigate periods in life marked by stress, conflict, anxiety, depression, illness, uncertainty and trauma. With a focus on providing evidenced based therapeutic interventions, Georgia offers a warm, safe and non judgmental space to explore personal challenges.

Georgia has a special interest in the role of neurobiology in relationships.  Understanding how our nervous system influences our emotions, relationships, and overall well-being is central to Georgia’s assessment of relational difficulties.

  • The number of sessions you may need varies greatly depending on your unique circumstances, goals, and progress. I understand that every individual's journey is different, and I’m here to guide you through the process.

  • Peregian Beach, on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, or online over Zoom.

  • Sessional costs can vary depending on eligibility for rebates and subsidies.

    During the initial session, I discuss with you your concerns, needs and goals. I can then tailor a treatment plan to meet your unique situation and desired outcome.

    Please contact me to discuss your circumstances and options for sessional costs.

  • Sessions typically go for 60 minutes, depending on your requirements.

  • To access a Medicare Mental Health Care Plan you will need to see your GP for a consultation.

    Once you have a GP Mental Health Care Plan, you can access the rebate through medicare.

  • Please note that we kindly request a minimum of 24 hours' notice for any cancellations or rescheduling of appointments. Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in a charge for the full session fee.
